A while ago I decided to burn a crushed sparkler in an Altoids tin. The first two two videos were taken several months apart from each other. The third was shot about a week after the second. In the first (September 2009) I crushed 1 and 1/2 sparklers and lit them. It badly burnt the box. I threw it our because after I cleaned it with water it reaked of sulfur. The second (March 2010) was 5 crushed sparklers with pieces of aluminum foil that I intended to melt. This sizzling you hear is from water on the steps the tin was on. It was raining. The third (4 sparklers) is similar to the second, There were two pieces of aluminum foil that I intended to fuse together, though they mostly burned away. There were also two other, thicker pieces that I intended to fuse but the top one did not melt enough. The pennies were put in to melt the zinc out of
