The Holy Spirit is, in part, Jesus' presence among his Church - empowering, comforting, teaching, and extolling. If this is the case, however, why is the Spirit seldom spoken of in so many churches? Central Baptist Church is seeking to buck that trend with a 9 week devotional study called, "Facing the Wind". Beginning on April 11th, and continuing through the Easter season, "Facing the Wind" will explore the Holy Spirit's ministry among God's people in both the Tanakh (OT) and the New Testament.
