Another modified 1042 Series Hemmer built during our long affiliation with Spear Systems. This video shows, in a bit more detail, some of the handier features. This machine is made to expand at the touch of a button, allowing the hemming of two sides simultaneously up to king size sheets, or retract to hem twin sheets, or even pillow case headers. Both sides can be sewn identically for closing edges or choose a header one side, and simply close the bottom. It has the option of five different clean finish hem sizes on each side, single needle left side, single or double needle right side, a care label inserter, dual edge trimmers with vacuum waste removal, dual panel seperating thread chain cutters, dual applique unwind & attach system, optional bunch stitch at end of panel to prevent unravelling, and a self adjusting unload/stacker. This machine utilizes the robust Pfaff-Pegasus TM625 sewing head, modified to chain stitch left and right, PLC control, with motor syncronization via vfds, and a touchscreen operator panel.
