I attempted to teach something I dislike (typography) though something I do like (sewing). Together we drew up sewing patterns for Rockwell, Playbill and Courier New for the letter "z". There wasn't any relevance in choosing that particular letter, I just liked how it looked. Through this I explained the difference between sans serif and slab serif. Q. Why is this video so short? A. We had filmed everything and it was looking good but my memory card decided to corrupt and wipe everything off it which involved a manic trip to a 24 hour Tesco to buy a new memory card. We then had to recap everything as we could not be bothered and had no time to do it all again. Q. Why is this video so crap? A. See above and also count in 2 bottles of wine. Q. Who is the hot girl you are trying to teach. A. That is my sister, leave her alone.
