Today on this 2005 Dodge Durango we will be installing Hidden Hitch part number 87562. This installation will also apply for Draw-Tite part number 75162. We are underneath the vehicle, the first thing you want to do in preparation is to remove the spare tire and get it out of the way. Secondly, we are going to remove the fascia support straps here at the bottom of the bumper which will allow us to have a little more working room around the cross tube of the vehicle we are attaching to. :29 With the fascia support straps removed we can go ahead and test fit the hitch up into position. What we are gong to need to do is cut out2, 3 quarter inch sections of our styrofoam here where our u-bolts are going to be going up and over our cross tube. When you take the hitch itself you can see we have a notch here, and that is going to go around the gusset here in the middle. So that will help us line it up. :50 We need to go straight up and mark that spot in the styrofoam to where we need to cut out our section. This is the u-bolt we are going to be using to attach the hitch to the vehicle cross tube. Again we need about a three quarter inch section cut out of the styrofoam so we can fully get it around and into place.
