Chapter 3: Seeing the New Kid I ran in the forest with my hair blowing in the wind. My eyes were sparkling their golden persuading color. The sun was rising so I stopped. The sun's raising color was beautiful. It made the sky colorful but I kept running after it made my skin glisten. Beep! Beep! Beep! said my stupid alarm clock! "Ugh!" I groaned lifting my head up as my mom knocked on my door "Happy 18th birthday!" she squealed "Mom..." I grumbled "Okay, okay! Happy 218th birthday!" my mom laughed as I did "Thanks... I think" I laughed then got up to look in the mirror "18... 218... why did he choose you?" she asked "Well... I don't know, but I like it. It gives me a whole other side of me, that I've never even knew" "Honey... you became immortal because you're his greatest weapon" she sighed "I just don't like it that he makes... you kill people" "Not technically" I grumbled "My eyes do that!" "Whatever... you do whatever you want to do" then she left my room "Ugh!" I groaned then picked out some clothes for school I wore some jeans that had splattered paint on it with a long sleeve with a t-shirt over it. I put a headband in my hair and put on my blue tennis shoes. Then walked downstairs and ran outside. I run in the forest so I could run fast to school.
