What the fair-isle technique looks like at a normal speed. Both hands are being used, on this particular row, each stitch uses a different hand. The black yarn will always be in the left hand "picking" style, and the white will always be in the right hand "thrown". You must always assign a color to each hand, and traditionally the lighter color stays in the right hand, and will lay on top a bit more.

Chapter 2 March 13th 2010 3:00 am AHHH! I shot up out of bed, sweat dripping down my back. I looked over at the clock and then lay back down on my pillows. These nightmares wont go away. Its always the same thingover and over and over. Its traumatizing and painful, the things he did to me. Of course I was half-unconscious at the time, but I remember a lot of things. And its too much to handle at 3 oclock in the morning on a school night. But, I eventually drifted back into sleep. A picture of his face in my mind. 12:37 pm I sat in my third period class. A few people knew of what happened, only because of lame news reporters. I did report that I was raped, but they dont have a stitch of evidence, so I dont even know why they would allow local newspapers to say things. My brain turned to complete fog when he walked in. Obviously a new kid because Ive never seen him before. He walked to the teacher and they exchanged a few words. And then she told him to sit in the chair before me. I looked down at the empty seat next to me. That was Selenas seat. Im glad the teacher hadnt told him to sit next to me. Because no one can fill that chair. When I looked back up, I saw the back of his head. He had short, black hair and it kind of went up in a little Mohawk thing. But, nothing crazy, it looked nice. He wore a grey shirt. The way his shoulders were shaped and how tense he was told me that he liked to work out. Id say hes hot, but its weird for me to think of anyone being hot after ...
