I made this tutorial to enter the Threadbanger Jenome competition. I've found it hard to find a pair of these pants to fit nicely. I'm new to making and editing videos so some parts are a bit slow. I dont know how to fast foward thoes bits yet. Any tips on making vids is appreciated (it was made on my still cam aswell and freewear editing programs) To do this project You will need: a peasant skirt 2-3 sizes too big for you (3-4 inches to big) what ever colour you like (its better to have a sheered waisted skirt they sit beter and are more forgiving ^_^") a sewing machine is needed but if u can make tight stitching by hand give it a go. If there is anything unclear just ask me and try to explain. These are based of pajama pants and they are just as comfy. They only took me max 1 hours to make mostly its the pinning that takes so long...kinda like making stir-fry your there cutting everything up and then bam once you start cooking its done in minutes. Here is a step by step just incase: 1) lay your skirt down flat 2) cut from the top to the bottom in the direct middle of the skirt so u have folded two halfs 3) lay the two halfs over each other while still folded 4) about 2 inches inalong the top put a pin in then 9 inches down put another pin on the side you cut 5) draw a J from the top pin to the pin 9inches down 6) cut the jay out through all 4 layers 7) unfold the two pieces and lay them on top so you have two pieces with a jay cut from both sides 8) sew those two sides ...

A quick tutorial on shirring fabric ;) Shirring is great! It looks pretty and is really useful for making dresses and skirts. I bought the elastic thread off ebay - Two 20m spools for £1.50 or something ^_^ But you can pretty much get it in any crafty sewing shop. :) Feel free to ask any questions.
