SHUTTLE DISCOVERYS PAYLOAD ARRIVES AT LAUNCH PAD FOR STS-131 MISSION KSC (NEW) Space shuttle Discoverys payload arrived at Launch Pad 39A at nasas Kennedy Space Center, Fla., on March 19th for its upcoming STS-131 mission to the International Space Station. A lightweight carrier with a spare ammonia tank and the Leonardo multi-purpose logistics module filled with spare parts and supplies were lifted and loaded into a payload transportation canister at Kennedys Space Station Processing Facility March 8 and March 10, respectively.
